Is money evil? Not really, you will need it as you work your
way through life. Also, is it good to have just a little bit of money or a lot?
As far as how much money you will earn in your life? It is totally up to you!
No one can tell you what kind of job or career to choose, however in life your
job or career will translate directly into how much money you will earn in
life. This will only change, if and when you decide to change jobs or change
careers!
You would be surprised to know just how many people in the
world, everyday go to their job almost without thinking about what they are
doing. It has become for many people almost like a ritual which one must
follow. However, shouldn’t we consider just how much money we earn at whatever
job we engage ourselves in at present as well as the job satisfaction we need? We
have to stop choosing our jobs subconsciously, and start paying attention to
them as being “the vehicle which gives us the supply of money we need in the
world to succeed and fulfill our desire for success!”
Here is an exercise for you to do. I want you guys to take a
blank sheet of paper and write down which jobs or careers in your life do you
consider the worst paying and which ones the best paying jobs or careers you
have worked in . Make the list expansive, from common laborer to rocket scientist.
Try to look at as many jobs and careers as you can but write your list from the
lowest paying jobs or careers you have worked in to the highest paying ones. After
you do this, take a look at what level your average job or career income has
been on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, yearly basis. Now multiply your average
earnings per year against forty, because most people work about forty years or
so, how much money did you earn over that amount of time?
Note: The goal of this exercise is to recognize the subconscious
illusion of “a job is just a job and a career is just a career, because not all
jobs or careers are equal or pay the same amount of money!
